With the 4th of July comes cookouts, parades and hot humid weather. This year the tall ships invaded Boston along with the Blue Angles who performed in an air show recently in New Hampshire. Today I decided to take a trip into Piers Park in East Boston. I had never been over to that part of Boston and I must say I was a little suspect of what I was going to find. I can say that I was pleasantly surprised as Piers Park offered up an outstanding view of the Skyline!
Below are a few photos from today the USS Constitution was joined in its annual turnaround in the Harbor with the USCG Cutter Eagle. The blue angles also caused goose bumps with a few dramatic passes over the hub.
