I hope this post finds all of my followers doing well!  Just a reminder to everyone my photos are available for purchase!  I don't  post many photos on the blog here anymore, it is kind of a process, instead I put my work up on my flickr page!

North Scitaute Octoberfest

Greetings to all of my followers!  I just wanted to do a quick post here giving you all the heads up about an event where I will be selling my work!  On Saturday October 5th, 2013 I will be taking part in the North Scitaute Octoberfest.  The event runs from 10AM to 5PM.  I will be selling a similar lineup of products from Heritage Days!  Please come by and take a lot what I have to offer, the holidays are right around the corner and calendars, note cards, mated or framed photos make great gifts for loved ones!

Thanks to everyone who came by the booth this past Heritage Days weekend!  I'm happy to say that this was my most successful year in doing it!  I truly appreciate all of the kind comments from friends, family and the great people I had a chance to meet!  I'm going to try and keep making post on here but bookmark my flickr page to see all of my photos!

National Weather Service Photo Contest

As many know I am a huge weather weenie especially when it comes to winter weather!  With that in mind when the summer rolls around I just suck it up and get through the 8-12 week period until fall.  The National Weather Service in Taunton had a summer photo contest.  Basically what it was you submit your summer photo scene to there FB page then they would choose the best 20 photos to be put into an Album where the followers of there FB page would "Like" there favorite photos.  After a period of time the 3 photos that had the most likes would be the winners!  I submitted one of my sunset photos of the light and was able to take home 1st place!  My photo was the cover page for the National weather service FB page, twitter page and local climate page for the entire month of June!  The winners also get to take a tour of the NWS in Taunton!:)

Hingham MA Fireworks

I have taken a few firework photos in the past but never anything to serious just messing around more or less.  This year I wanted to try and get some decent photos!  As always the best show around is hands down the one in Boston but the fact is that was more effort than I was willing to go through, between travel, crowds etc...  With that in mind I decided to take in the Hingham Fireworks which were last night and here are a few of the better ones!

Super Moon Success!

The Super Moon of 2013 worked out nicely!  I went right down the road to Minot Beach where an American Flag has been put on one of the rocks.  Thanks to my handy sun/moonrise app on my phone I was able to get myself in a good position to get the photo I was after.  This time of year brings a lot of haze and to say the least I was a little nervous but in the end the moon emerged and it was an amazing site as always!

Greetings I had hopes of trying to build up another website for the summer season but it just has not happened!  With that in mind I have decided to start blogging on here again.  I still have my flickr page which I will continue to post my work on and each time I blog I will just post the link to that page with the photos from that day added to flickr!  Still feel free to swing here though to see what is on my mind, and to see what products I have for sale!  Again if you are interested in purchasing an item just email me with the product you are interested in with the photo number from flickr!  For example a 5x7 of Light #88.

I will be down at Heritage Days again this August.  Products will include 5x7, 8x10, 13x19 prints.  I will have a Scituate Light Calendar available for order, as well as a photo book capturing the great New England Blizzard of 2013.  In addition to these items I will be offering select canvas wraps in a variety of sizes!
